We’ve learned to move quickly in the mornings, it's two fold. Firstly, because the moment fresh feed or treats hit the ground, Hannah’s there — sampling everything before her coop-mates get a look in.
And secondly there’s her… Hannah, shall we say…has a questionable relationship with eggs. Let’s just say we’ve joked about swapping in wooden ones, just to see if we can outsmart her sneaky inner cannibalism. It’s farmyard theatre at its finest — her eyes narrowing, a soft cluck cluck as she lulls everyone into a false sense of security and then… the swift strike. BAM! The fresh egg is gone, down the hatch.
Is she a handful? Absolutely. But she’s also the heartbeat of the coop’s daily drama. Without Hannah, mornings would be predictable. Too predictable. Instead, she keeps us laughing, hustling, and telling her stories over dinner like she’s a character from a sitcom.
