Broccoli Di Ciccio Seeds (100+ Seeds)
Growing broccoli from seed is straightforward and rewarding. Choose a sunny spot with well-drained, fertile soil enriched with compost or aged manure. Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or sow directly once soil reaches 10°C. Space seedlings 40cm apart and keep soil consistently moist. Protect young plants from pests like aphids and cabbage worms using row covers. Harvest the central head when fully developed but before flowering; side shoots may continue producing after the main harvest. Open pollinated and untreated.
Garden Tip:
Feed regularly with balanced fertiliser or compost and watch for pests to keep plants healthy and productive.
